Whole Group Learning: Students will talk about what sorts of things makes them feel lucky. They will write about things that they can do, what moments make them feel extra special and what they are lucky to have.
Small Group or Individual (depends on grade level): Have students make a list “I am lucky because I… can, am, have) for each column using worksheet provided.
Individual : Each students will pick two things from each column to write on the rainbow strips. Glue rainbow strips on bottom of “I am lucky because…” cloud. Hang for display.
Lesson Extension: Themed writing paper (5) provided for lesson extension.
