Bring the beloved classic "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Bill Martin Jr. to life with this engaging Dot Painting and Story Retelling Booklet! This hands-on activity helps young learners practice fine motor skills, color recognition, and story retelling as they recreate the characters and scenes from the story using dot painting.


How to Use:

  1. Print all the activity pages (including the cover).

  2. Staple them together to create a booklet (some may want to wait to staple the booklet together after its complete).

  3. Dot-paint one page each day to slowly build up the full story.

  4. Allow each page to dry before continuing with the next.

  5. Once the booklet is complete, practice retelling the story to a friend, teacher, or parent—reinforcing both comprehension and sequencing skills!

What’s Included:

  • Cover Page: A space for students to write their name and color in the cover.

  • Children, What Do You See?: A fun coloring activity to kick off the booklet, encouraging children to predict what they might see.

  • Dot Paint Pages for each character from the story:

    • Bear
